The Nautilus
Our newest attraction. See underwater sights from aboard the semi-submersible SS Nautilus. You can feed the fish yourself from inside the vessel. It features a fish food feeding system with torpedo buttons so you can feed the fish from your seat.
Fire One!...Fire Two! You haven't entered enemy waters, just the newest attraction to our fleet of "Best Attractions."
Join our captain and his crew on a secret research mission aboard the semi-submersible SS Nautilus. Armed with fish food torpedoes, you will venture into the deep on an exploratory mission that is both educational and entertaining. Evening missions also available for viewing the undersea night life that only begins after dark!
City Passport Tour
Relax and let us introduce you to Avalon, California's only island resort city. Your tour begins along the island's only coastline road, climbs to an elevation of 400 feet, passes Mount Ada, the original Wrigley Estate and continues through Avalon Canyon. Here you'll see the Catalina Golf Course and the site where the Chicago Cubs held spring training for 30 years.
We'll wind through the city streets for a majestic view of the harbor and Avalon Casino. Along the way, our guides will entertain you with their personal insights and stories of early Catalina.
Inside Adventure Tour
Spectacular canyons, scenic coastline, unspoiled countryside alive with native plants and wildlife. With luck, you'll see friendly natives, like buffalo, deer, wild boars, wild turkeys, bald eagles or Catalina Island foxes. Our most comprehensive tour, this is the Catalina seldom seen by most visitors.
There's a photo opportunity around every turn as we climb to the Airport-in-the-Sky . At this stop, you can visit the Nature Center and peer down at one of Catalina's original Indian sites.
The Seaview
If you feed them they will come... describes this timeless attraction on Catalina's newest Glass Bottom Boat the Sea View - The crystal clear waters of Lover's Cove are home to a rich variety of undersea life. Our guides help you identify fish, plants and other ocean inhabitants. Aboard the Sea View, you can feed the fish through a specially designed food drop tubes. This is one of the only tours that let's you start a feeding frenzy.
City Botanical Garden
Including our complete Avalon City Tour, this extended version adds an informative stop at the Botanical Garden and the Wrigley Memorial. A gardener's paradise, this serene setting is home to desert and native plants found only on the Channel Islands.
On your tour, you will encountersuch botanical flora as: The Catalina Cherry, St. Catherine's Lace, the California Holly (Toyon), The Catalina Mahogany, The Catalina Ironwood, and many, many others!
Seal Rocks Explorer
Catch this act! Better known for their performances as "trained seals," these sea lions and harbor seals make their homes each summer at the east end of our Island.
Watch them sun, swim and frolic around their rocky perches. Your captain will explain to you the geology and early beginnings of the Island. We will search for bald eagles and dolphins on our return trip to Avalon
Night Glass Bottom Boat
During night excursions, a whole new world unfolds as the nocturnal creatures emerge under 18,000 watts of light. Aboard the new SeaView, you can feed the fish through specially designed food drop tubes. If you feed them, they will come!
